Heathcotes Enright becomes summer wonderland!
Heathcotes Enright became a wonderland of Alices, March Hares, grinning Cheshire cats and Queens of Hearts when the services held a Mad Hatter’s Tea Party.
Staff and service users dressed as characters from Lewis Carroll’s classic fantasy novel – with a special guest appearance from Ironman – and tucked into a wonderful spread of sweet and savoury dishes, including some delicious home-made cakes. The August weather also served up a treat as wall-to wall sunshine prompted the party goers to switch from tea to the cooling refreshment of ice-cold drinks.
Rachel Whiteman, Heathcotes’ Regional Manager for Nottingham City & Newark, said:
“It was a fantastic day enjoyed by all. We were very lucky with the weather and the service users loved getting dressed up. I’m sure that the services will organise more themed events in the future and the Mad Hatter’s Tea Party could become an annual occasion!”
Hats off to Heathcotes Enright – they know how to put on a fantastic party!
