			<p>Heathcotes Care views staff training and development as a key component in ensuring that we provide high quality services.&nbsp; Our commitment to training is accordingly reflected in our investment in this.</p>
<h3>The Team</h3>
<p>We currently employ 2 full time training personnel &ndash; Lele Bobeszko,&nbsp;Training Manager and Elaine Boyd, Trainer</p>
<p><a href="/meet-the-team/lele-bobeszko-training-manager/">Lele Bobeszko</a> is our training manager who brings a wealth of knowledge and experience. Lele is a highly experienced and qualified social worker who holds a BA Hons Social Work Degree, OCN Level 3 training certificate, NVQ Level 4 management, NVQ Level 4 Manager&rsquo;s award and is a Designated Adult and Child Protection Advisor amongst others.&nbsp; Lele is part of Heathcotes&rsquo; Senior Management Team which again, reflects the importance placed on training and development by the company.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Elaine Boyd has substantial experience in working in social care and delivering training.&nbsp; She has just completed the PTLLS adult education teaching qualification.</p>
<p>Both are qualified <a href="http://www.nappiuk.com">NAPPI</a> Trainers.</p>

		<title><![CDATA[Raising the roof in Wakefield!]]></title>

			<p>&ldquo;Raising the roof on another project&rdquo; said Heathcotes Managing Director David Harrison, in regards to our two new specialist services opening in Wakefield, development is well under way now and we&rsquo;re expecting to be up and running by March. &nbsp;</p>
<p>&ldquo;It&rsquo;s an exciting time and we are working closely with other professionals and stakeholders to ensure we offer real choice and inclusion into the community, developing individual life skills for the people who use our services, enabling people to move on as their skills and confidence develops is our aim in every one of our services&rdquo; said David Harrison</p>
<p>The purpose-built services, which will provide our specialist care to Adults with Learning Disabilities and Complex needs, are located in a vibrant area of the community and the immediate local amenities include a pub, a supermarket and a park. We are also just a short walk up the hill from Sandal &amp; Agbrigg railway station, which enables easy access to more areas of the community</p>

<p>New Learning and Development Partnership for Heathcotes and &ldquo;Learning Unlimited&rdquo;</p>

<p>At Heathcotes, we value our employees and wish to ensure that we continue to provide opportunities for personal and professional development within the organisation. &nbsp;The provision and learning and development opportunities, training and support ensures that our teams are able to deliver the best quality services to people with complex needs. &nbsp;We also aim to retain and develop highly motivated and qualified people by ensuring that their skills are recognised and valued.&nbsp;</p>
<p>We are now embarking on an exciting new partnership with &ldquo;Learning Unlimited&rdquo;, a dedicated arm of the <a href="http://www.chesterfield.ac.uk" target="_blank">Chesterfield College</a> group, to provide our employees with excellent quality social care training and qualifications.&nbsp;</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>The college has a great reputation for high success rates and already have good working relationships within the care sector, including with the <a href="http://www.nhs.uk" target="_blank">NHS</a>. &nbsp;Heathcotes own training team will provide access to students from the college to our own high quality specialist training to share our expertise within the social care sector.</p>
<p>We are looking forward to achieving excellent outcomes for our staff and service users, and will provide updates via the website.</p>

			<p>We all have had a great time getting ready for Christmas and before we all went home for our Christmas home visits we went out for a Christmas meal with all the staff. I really enjoyed myself with my friend Jason and everyone else had a good time as well. I am going home in the bosses car&nbsp;(which needs cleaning) and I hope you and everyone has a good Christmas and a Happy New Year!</p>
