Heathcotes Blythe Bridge is a specialist residential service for adults with Mental Illness who may have dual diagnoses and associated complex needs. Heathcotes Blythe Bridge has eight ensuite bedrooms and provides twenty four hour support.
The service provides a large communal lounge, kitchen and dining area with access to a large garden complete with summer house, BBQ area and a small allotment. Service users can also enjoy the movie themed quiet room. Ground floor bedrooms are available and there is a communal bathroom in addition to the ensuite shower rooms. Heathcotes Blythe Bridge has Wi-Fi throughout allowing service users to stay in touch with family and friends, access e learning and use the internet
Heathcotes Blythe Bridge is situated in a residential area of Blythe Bridge, Stoke on Trent and close to a wealth of community facilities including local shops, a village pub, sporting facilities and a retail park. The service is also close to Parkhall Country Park and a golf course.
There are many opportunities for service users to develop news skills; Stoke on Trent College is just a short drive away and service users are able to assist with the upkeep of the vegetable patch and organise one of the many coffee mornings at Heathcotes Blythe Bridge.
The service has excellent transport links with the railway station being just a ten minute walk. The A50 is just a short drive away providing good links to Stoke on Trent city centre, Burton on Trent and Derby.
