Heathcotes Hollyfield House is a specialist residential service for adults with a Learning Disability, Autism, Epilepsy and associated Challenging Behaviour. Heathcotes Hollyfield House has 9 ensuite bedrooms and provides twenty four hour support.
The service provides three communal lounges and an open plan kitchen diner, with a relax area. The nine ensuite bedrooms each have a bath and an activities room provides space for arts and crafts and bean bag quite area. The large outdoor area provides an extension of the space, with the terrace offering plentiful seating and tables for al fresco dining and barbeques in the summer months. There is a communal computer in the lounge and all service users have an iPad to enable them to stay connected with family friends, access the internet and e-learning.
Heathcotes Hollyfield House is situated in a residential area in the London Borough of Sutton, Surrey. The service is just 5 minutes from the main train station and a 5 minute stroll the town centre.
There is a local shop across the road, and nearby community facilities include cafes, leisure centres, a library and a cinema. Nearby Sutton College offers opportunities for education, with accessible courses and distance learning.
Being located on a main bus route, service users are able to easily access the surrounding areas of Epsom, Ashtead and Ewell. The M25 providing direct links to Central London is less than 30 minutes’ drive.
