Heathcotes Mapperley is a specialist residential service for adults with Mental Illness who may have dual diagnoses and associated complex needs. Heathcotes Mapperley has seven ensuite bedrooms and provides twenty four hour support.
The service provides a large communal lounge, dining room, ‘chill-out’ room and a spacious kitchen. There is also access to a large garden area and there is a shared bathroom as well as ensuite shower rooms. The service has a lift to the upper floors and ground floor rooms are available. Heathcotes Mapperley has Wi-Fi throughout allowing service users to stay in touch with family and friends, access e learning and use the internet.
Heathcotes Mapperley is situated in the residential area of Mapperley, Nottinghamshire and close to a wealth of community facilities including cafes, shops and pubs. The service is just a short distance away from Sherwood Forest and Newstead Abbey Museum and a ten minute bus ride into Nottingham city centre.
There are many opportunities for service users to develop new skills; Clarendon College is just a short distance away and service users are encouraged to take part in the running of the household including budgeting and shopping.
