We acknowledge the rating of 'Requires Improvement' following the CQC inspection on 25th and 26th August 2015; the service was in transition from an outgoing Manager to a new Manager at the time of inspection and whilst we are satisfied that the quality of care was rated as Good, there were failings in the back office that impacted on the rating. Heathcotes Middleton has had a permanent Manager in place for several months now and following a recent audit by Rochdale Council, we are confident that the service is vastly improved. We look forward to a return visit from the CQC inspector so the rating can be revised to more accurately reflect where the service is now.
