Heathcotes Sawley is a specialist residential service for adults with a Learning Disability who may have dual diagnoses and associated complex needs. Heathcotes Sawley has six bedrooms and provides twenty four hour support.
The service provides a communal lounge, dining room and kitchen. There are ground floor rooms available and there is a shared bathroom as well as toilets and basins in each room. Heathcotes Sawley has Wi-Fi throughout, allowing service users to stay in touch with family and friends, access e-learning and use the internet. The service has its own large garden area with a trampoline and BBQ area.
Heathcotes Sawley is situated in Sawley, Derbyshire and close to a wealth of community facilities including local shops, leisure centres, pubs and food outlets. The service is very close to Trent Lock and Sawley Marina and Derby city centre is just a ten minute train journey away.
There are many opportunities for service users to develop new skills;
There are excellent transport links; the service is close local bus routes providing easy access to surrounding towns and the M1 motorway is just a five minute drive from the service. The railway station is just a two minute walk away.
