Heathcotes Wakefield gets the go ahead!
The Heathcotes Group are delighted to announce that the latest in their growing portfolio of specialist services for adults with learning disabilities will be in Wakefield, West Yorkshire. The Group has recently secured full planning permission to develop on a site bordering Sandal & Agbrigg, on the outskirts of Wakefield City Centre and demolition of the existing structures will commence any day now. Brendan Kelly, Head of Operations, said, "I'm absolutely thrilled to be overseeing this development in what is my home city; Wakefield is really on the up lately, with the unqualified success of the internationally acclaimed Hepworth Museum, the opening of the new Trinity Walk shopping centre and in the last few days, the news that Wakefield Trinity Wildcats have secured a further 3 year Super League Licence. Wakefield is really buzzing and I'm delighted that the Heathcotes Group can be a part of that." The site will contain modern, state-of-the-art residential services for adults with learning disabilities and will work with local professionals to provide person-centred, individualised packages of care that enable people to lead fulfilling, meaningful lives, experiencing genuine community involvement and opportunities to be socially included.
