New service in Wakefield...

Heathcotes takes great pride in informing you about our new service we are opening in Wakefield for people with complex and challenging needs. Our aim is to create a broad and flexible service which meets and adapts to the changing needs and personal goals of the people using the service.


At the core of this service are two purpose-built specialist residential homes. We know that some individuals benefit from the residential model of care. However we feel that what sets Heathcotes apart is that we are committed to developing pathways into independence and into the community for people using our services


The home has been specially designed to optimise independence with spacious bedrooms that can be equipped to become self-contained studios with cooking facilities,  should it be required.  Our goal is to enable people the opportunity to have clear pathways to move on in life and gain life skills. Heathcotes is committed to providing services that offer real opportunities. We have 17 sites across central England and have successfully supported many individuals, allowing them to have more independent lives.


We are in the process of developing an adjacent building which we will convert into "move on" cluster flats. From there, we would hope to offer people further opportunities through our domiciliary support and crisis response service. Based within Heathcotes this enables individuals consistency and specialised staffing throughout their move into independent life.
