A 'vintage' day out!

28th Jun 2012

Staff and service users from Heathcotes Arnold recently attended the annual Hoveringham Vintage Vehicle Rally & Show, where vintage and and classic tractors, cars, lorries and motorbikes were on display.

The show, also featuring a tug of war, stalls, morris men and a dog agility display by our very own Keeley Ward and her agility dog Denzel Bailey, raised money for the Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance Service, a dedicated medical air service which first began operations in Lincolnshire in April 1994.

Team Heathcotes manned a stall on the day and chose to donate some of their proceeds to the Good Shepherd Primary School, a local primary school near to Heathcotes Arnold.

Home Manager Rachel Whiteman said, "We had a great day out and our team did a fantastic job of raising money for two very worthy causes!"
