Well done Emerson!
As the Heathcotes Group continues to develop new services, we recently took steps to stengthen our Learning and Development Team, with the addition of a new NAPPI Trainer.
After an extensive selection process, culminating in a half day assessment centre, Emerson Franklin emerged as the successful candidate; well done Emerson!
Emerson has over 12 years experience in the health and social care sector, working variously as Care Assistant, Senior Carer, Team Leader, Day-care Co-ordinator and Deputy Manager. During his career he has supported adults and young people with mental health issues, challenging behaviour, learning disabilities and autism.
On hearing the news of his successul appointment, Emerson said, "I see my role as not only a carer, but as an advocate to the individuals I support. I have very high standards and I think lifelong learning is paramount in ensuring equality and support across the whole care team; I'm really excited about this new role and I hope it gives me the opportunity to pass on my skills, experience and positive approach to my colleagues."
Mick Murphy, Heathcotes Learning Coordinator, added, "NAPPI is the cornerstone of what we do, so it's essential that our employees receive high quality training in a timely manner; Emerson's appointment will certainly help us to continue to achieve that - I can't wait to start working with him!"
