Whitley Welcomes Leo

20th Feb 2013

Heathcotes Whitley have welcomed a new resident this week - Leo the Lionhead rabbit!  Leo was kindly donated to Heathcotes Whitley by Keeley Ward and has quickly become a much-loved member of the home.  Ideal indoor house pets known for their friendly and sociable nature, Lionhead rabbits are said to be playful with a fondness for lots of attention; this certainly appears to be the case for Leo who is definitely making the most of all the attention being lavished upon him!

Leo is pictured with A who is really enjoying caring for Leo with the help from the staff at Heathcotes Whitley.  A has happily taken on all the tasks that go along with having a pet including feeding, cleaning out, bathing and the task she most enjoys - petting him!

Gemma Hollingsworth, Home Manager said, "Leo is a massive hit with all the service users and staff at Whitley and we thank Keeley for giving us such a lovely pet!".
