Heathcotes 01 Heathcotes 02 Heathcotes 03

At Heathcotes we see ourselves as a 'stepping stone to the future'; at the core of every placement within Heathcotes, is the aim of our team to work with the person using our service to enable them to move on into more independent living projects.  As a result of this work, we are happy to once again report that in recent months, several service users have been supported to make the transition into more independent settings - always a great source of great pride for everyone within the Group.  Alongside these sucessess, the demand for our high quality, specialist care services increases and we continue to rapidly expand, having recently opened the doors of our stunning, brand new service Heathcotes Wigston.  This has created some additional capacity to provide specialist residential placements for adults with learning disabilities and complex needs.  As well as inviting referrals to this new service, our success stories have created vacancies in several homes including:

Heathcotes Eversley - This stunning Victorian property has recently been fully refurbished throughout to provide modern facilities, including en-suites bathrooms in all rooms.  The service provides a homely environment, whilst offering genuine opportunities for social inclusion.

Heathcotes Wakefield - Known as 'Sandal' and 'Agbrigg', these bright and modern purpose-built neighbouring properties boast lots of outdoor space.  As with all Heathcotes services, the interiors are furnished and decorated to an exceptionally high standard.  Through Heathcotes Home Care, we are also able to offer a community-based care package to people who successfully move on to more independent living settings.

Heathcotes Blackburn - This centrally placed, purpose-built service is set in quiet surroundings, whilst enjoying great access to local amenities, providing many opportunities for community activities.

Heathcotes Bridlington - The fully refurbished home provides specialist care for adults with Prada-Willi Syndrome and has been designed to meet the specific needs of the people who use this service.  At Heathcotes Bridlington we actively seek to support service users to take part in the activities that mean something to them.

Scheduled to open mid-summer, we are now also inviting enquiries for Heathcotes Basford.  Situated in the Nottinghamshire suburb of Basford, this brand new service will provide specialist care for adult females with learning disabilities, complex needs and associated challenging behaviours.

Brendan Kelly, Director of Operations said, "We are very proud of the specialist, high quality, person-centred support we provide for the people who use our services.  If you are interested in any of our vacancies, whether you have worked with us before or would like to find out more about what we do, get in touch - we are always happy to discuss your requirements".

The Heathcotes Group welcome enquiries for these, or any of our services; our Operations Co-ordinator, Kathie Devenish will be more than happy to take your referral, provide further information or discuss your specific requirements.  You can contact Kathie on 01246 556453 or 07734 997639.  Alternatively, you can contact us through the website here and a member of our specialist team will prompty respond to your email.
