A Heathcotes footballing Super Team representing Heathcotes Wakefield, Heathcotes Mansfield and Heathcotes Knollbeck have recently enjoyed some intensive football training, culminating in a 6-a-side tournament, played at The Zone in Huddersfield last week.

Jason, representing Heathcotes Wakefield and Tony from Heathcotes Knollbeck both played forward and had goal tallies well into double figures. Goal keeper, Adnan from Heathcotes Mansfield was a fantastic stopper!

The Team played a total of 6 matches, with a final scoreboard of:

Won: 5

Lost: 0

Hitting the back of the net, the boys' handy footwork led them to victory as they were crowned the tournament's overall winners!

After the energetic games, the triumphent Heathcotes boys were lucky enough to meet, and be photographed with, former Huddersfield Town and Sheffield Wednesday legend, Andy Booth.

Rich McGill, Manager of Heathcotes Wakefield said, "The boys did us, and themselves, proud.  A good time was had by all, although there were a few tired legs in the morning!
