With the demand for our specialist services ever increasing, Heathcotes takes great pride in informing you about a number of exciting new projects at various sites across central England, which will see several new services joining the Heathcotes Group in 2013, alongside our existing 23 specialist care homes.

We know that some individuals benefit from the residential model of care, however, we feel that what sets Heathcotes apart is that we are committed to developing pathways into independence and into the community for people using our services.  Our aim is to create broad and flexible services which meet and adapt to the changing needs and personal goals of the people using the service.  Heathcotes Care offers specialist care to men and women with a learning disability, complex needs and associated challenging behaviour, placing great emphasis on providing supportive care in small, non-institutional homes.  At the core of this philosophy are several new projects which will see new services opening in the Nottingham, Sheffield and Stockport areas.

Sheffield will be the site of 2 brand new, purpose built services; as can be seen in our pictures, the building work for this project is now well underway, with the land now prepped and the foundations going in.   Both Nottingham and Stockport will see existing properties undergo extensive refurbishment throughout, to bring the homes up to the exceptionally high-quality standard of accommodation Heathcotes is synonymous with.  Each service aims to create a welcoming, homely atmosphere for the people who live there, providing spacious and modern living spaces, whilst our highly-trained staff will deliver specialist, supportive, person-centred care packages.

David Harrison, Managing Director of Heathcotes Care said, 'These are really exciting times for Heathcotes.  The success of our exisiting services means we are able to respond to the increase in demand for our specialist services quickly and proactively, enabling us to provide more opportunities for people to access our services and receive the high quality, person-centred support that will empower them to lead a full and independent life'.

Heathcotes is committed to providing services that offer real opportunities; we have successfully supported many individuals, enabling them to lead more fulfilled and independent lives.  With all our new services due to open later on this year, we would welcome the opportunity to talk to you about what we have to offer. We can design packages and clear pathways around the people that need our specialist support with real value for money.  For more information, or to discuss your specific requirements please send your enquiry through our website by clicking here, or call Kathie Devenish on 01246 556453 or 07734 997639.
