Heathcotes Head Office Makes a Move!
Last week saw a huge move for the Heathcotes Group into our brand new Head Office! Over recent years, the vast expansion of the company meant our Head Office staff had simply outgrown their former surroundings and last summer, Heathcotes acquired the landmark former Derbyshire Times newspaper offices on Station Road in Chesterfield. Over the past few months, our ambitious plans have seen the building undergo extensive internal and external renovation, and having been stood empty for the best part of 2 years, it was certainly ready for a little TLC!
With the bulk of the work completed, on March 31st our Finance, HR and Business Support teams empited their desks and boxed up their files in preparation to take up residence in their impressive new offices. It was all hands to the deck on moving day, with staff and service user volunteers from our Nottinghamshire services offering valuable practical support with lifting, shifting and carrying! Director of Operations, Brendan Kelly also got stuck in moving boxes, whilst Managing Director, David Harrison rewarded everybody's hard work with lunch! Although there are still some minor finishing touches to complete, including external signage, we are simply bowled over by the amazing transformation and are excited to share with you some pictures of the result of the renovation works that have taken place over recent months.
As part of the build, Heathcotes now has its very own state-of-the art training room (pictured at the bottom) that Learning & Development Manager, Mick Murphy and his team are excited to utilise over coming months to deliver the excellent range of training Heathcotes provides to our support staff.
