Bank holiday fun
Well the sun may have misplaced his hat today, but he was certainly donning it with aplomb over the Easter Weekend. The bank holidays, coupled with the beautiful spring weather called for one thing - a barbeque! Staff and service users at Heathcotes Pheonix and Heathcotes Basford all made the most of the warmth and got grilling in the garden, enjoying the unmistakably barbequed customary burnt sausages and burgers! .
Easter Sunday saw themed activities happening across the homes, with Heathcotes Basford adorning their dining room with Easter themed decorations handmade by our service users, whilst Heathcotes Pheonix held an egg painting competition. Although the competition was fierce, Jenny's intricately ornate hand-painted egg was eventually crowned the deserved winner - as you will see from the pictures, Jenny was (it has to be done...), egg-static!
