Open day at Heathcotes Wigston Magna

23rd Sep 2014

We are proud to announce the official opening day for our new service Heathcotes Wigston Magna on Tuesday 30 September 2014 between 10am and 3pm.

Our brand new residential home is specially designed for adults with learning disabilities, mental illness, complex needs and associated challenging behaviour.  This brand new purpose built property, which is adjacent to our existing Heathcotes Wigston service, boasts modern facilities throughout, including full en-suite facilities in all bedrooms.

The service enjoys good access to local services and facilities being sited in a central location within the defined development area of Wigston, Leicestershire.  The town has a church, community facilities, shops and a public house nearby.  The site is on a main bus route and there are excellent public transport links to Leicester and the motorway.

Built to the highest specifications the service comprises 2 floors accommodating six spacious bedrooms all with en-suite wet rooms; two bedrooms on the ground floor and four bedrooms on the second floor.  With a modern spacious kitchen, large communal living space, dining room and garden this service is a wonderful addition to the Heathcotes Group.

Heathcotes Wigston Magna believes those living at the home should be empowered and encouraged to lead a full and independent life, making choices about their own lives, planning their own activities and taking part in day to day life in the home such as shopping, cooking and cleaning.  We believe that this new service will provide genuine opportunities for social inclusion, promote wellbeing, independence and an improved quality of life.

A Fun Day at our existing Heathcotes Wigston service will be held alongside the official opening of Heathcotes Wigston Magna which will be a fantastic opportunity to see some of he work we do.  The home is now completed and available for viewing with members of the management team on hand to discuss your requirements.  A light buffet and refreshments will be provided.
