Heathcotes at the Great British Care Awards
The Great British Care Awards are a series of award events held throughout England to celebrate excellence and pay tribute to those individuals who have demonstrated outstanding excellence within their field of work.
We are very proud to say that Heathcotes has received several nominations this year. For the Yorkshire and Humber event Frances Yardley from Heathcotes Bridlington was shortlisted for Outstanding Contribution and Flic Smith from Heathcotes Balby for Care Home Worker. This event took place at the National Railway Museum in York and both Frances and Flic attended accompanied by their service managers Joanne Coe and Vikki Bedford Atkinson and their Regional Manager, Gemma Hollingsworth. Our Director of Operations, Brendan Kelly took the opportunity to dust off his tuxedo to join them at the event!
Friday 21st November sees the East Midlands event taking place at the East Midlands Conference Centre, Nottingham, where we are fortunate to have four shortlisted nominees. Tracy Johnson, our Operations Manager, for Outstanding Contribution to Social Care; Rachel Whiteman from Heathcotes Arnold for Care Home Manager; Mick Murphy, our Learning and Development Manager for Care Trainer; then finally Heathcotes Care for Care Employer.
We wish all of our shortlisted employees (and ourselves!) the very best of luck - you're all winners in our eyes!
