Watch this space! New service in Leeds
We are pleased to announce that work has commenced on Heathcotes’ second specialist residential service in Leeds. Heathcotes Morley will provide placements across three separate buildings for service users with a Learning Disability and Challenging Behaviour, Mental Illness or a Personality Disorder. Service users may also have a forensic history and/or may have spent long periods of time in a hospital setting.
Heathcotes Morley will consist of three separate buildings, each with eight ensuite bedrooms and will provide twenty four hour support. Each building will have a large communal lounge, kitchen, dining room and access to a garden area There is a shared bathroom as well as ensuite shower rooms and ground floor rooms with disabled access are available. Service users can also access a quiet lounge where they can watch films or use the computer. Heathcotes Morley will have Wi-Fi throughout to enable service users to access the internet, complete e-learning and keep in touch with friends and family.
The new service is situated on the outskirts of Leeds and close to a wealth of community facilities including shops, cafes and Morley Leisure Centre. Leeds city centre is accessible by bus and the M1 motorway is a just a short drive away.
