Heathcotes Bridlington prepare for the Tour De Yorkshire

Staff and service users at Heathcotes Bridlington have enjoyed spray painting a donated bicycle bright yellow in preparation for the Tour De Yorkshire. The Tour, which starts in Bridlington on Friday 1st May 2015 will pass through beautiful coastal scenery and the North Yorkshire Moors before finishing the first stage with a sprint along Scarborough's seafront. Service Users have positioned their handiwork at the Heathcotes Bridlington Service and are looking forward to watching the race begin.  

Heathcotes Bridlington is a specialist residential service for adults with Prada Willi Syndrome who may have dual diagnoses and associated complex needs. The service has six bedrooms and provides twenty four hour support. Heathcotes Bridlington also offers four self-contained apartments which enable service users to progress through their care pathway and further develop their independent living skills.

Gemma Hollingsworth, Regional Manager, said, "Staff and service users are very excited about watching the Tour De Yorkshire kick off in Bridlington. We encourage service users to maintain an active lifestyle and the Tour de Yorkshire has been a great source of motivation for us all!"
