Happy Easter from Heathcotes

13th Apr 2017

As we approach the long bank holiday weekend, we would like to take this opportunity to wish all our stakeholders an enjoyable and fun-filled few days, and also say thank you for your continued support over what has been a very busy start to 2017 for the Heathcotes Group.

With new services due to open in Wakefield, Chesterfield and Salford in the coming weeks, we are set to see the results of some big projects that have been going on behind the scenes over a number of months, including our first children's specialist residential service, which is due to open in Derbyshire this summer.  Additionally, we are gearing up to open the doors of our brand new service supporting people with a diagnosis of Prader-Willi Syndrome, which will offer further opportunities for individuals to be supported by specially trained staff, to achieve the positive outcomes we have already seen at our existing PWS service in Bridlington.

We have also been very busy in our services, encouraging our service users to participate in meaningful activities and have lots of fantastic activities planned across our existing services over the Easter period, including barbeques, arts and crafts, garden parties and egg hunts.  With the weather forecast looking hopeful that we may escape the usual bank holiday rain, and with plenty of sunshine predicted across the weekend, we wish all our service users, staff and other stakeholders an enjoyable time.  We will look forward to sharing some pictures from activities within our services on our website next week.

As always, Heathcotes are here to support people during difficult times and our specialist teams will remain available throughout the Easter break.  If you require help with an emergency placement during this time, please contact our Commissioning Team on 07734 997639 or 07540 753030, who will be happy to discuss potential options available.
