PJ and TW are enjoying park life!

9th May 2018

Heathcotes’ Park View services in Wellingborough has two residents who are particularly keen to embrace new experiences and responsibilities.  When it comes to trying their hand at tasks, PJ and TW have always been quick to pick things up. It therefore came as no surprise to hear that they have both hit the ground running with voluntary litter picking jobs at the local County Park in Irchester.

With support from Heathcotes staff, PJ and TW met with the park rangers and arranged to join the maintenance team to help keep the park clean for other users. They are thoroughly enjoying park life and have made a real difference to the appearance of the grounds.

Heathcotes are always keen to give our service users opportunities for greater community integration and social inclusion. PJ has also done voluntary work in a recycling warehouse in Wellingborough, so he is certainly doing his bit for the environment!
