All of our services are supported by a dedicated team of employees; we recruit people with the right qualities, attitude and personal attributes to ensure that our service users are treated with dignity, kindness and respect at all times.
But it doesn’t end there – we also provide the highest possible standard of training, supervision and management, so that everyone in our services receives a package of support that is personalised, sensitive to their needs and is able to adapt in response to the changing needs of the individual service user.
We also provide dedicated maintenance and support teams, so that the physical environment in all of our services is of an excellent standard, comfortable to live in and a contributory factor in each individuals feeling of belonging and wellbeing. Our service users are encouraged and supported to personalise their own space and we’ll always provide the help they need to achieve that.
Life at all Heathcotes services is fun, vibrant and interesting – a full and comprehensive programme of individualised day activities is interspersed with skills for independent living, and each service user is encouraged and supported to maintain their own living space and to cook independently.
We work hard to make sure our services are as far from institutional as possible; all our homes are within established residential areas, and we work hard to make sure we integrate into the local community, giving our service users the best possible opportunity to become socially included and to achieve a strong sense of place and belonging.
Our aim is to provide the choice and control of independent living, in the safety and security of a residential setting; please explore our full range of services – we hope you agree that we’ve achieved just that.
