Heathcotes Phoenix Cottages is a traditional built cottage, situated in the heart of New Mills on the outskirts of the stunning Peak District. It is close to local shops and amenities, as well as the nearby New Mills heritage centre, Lyme Hall Park, Torrs Riverside Park and the magnificent scenery of the Sett Valley Trail. The cottage is near to local transport links, including bus routes and motorways, ensuring that the nearby town centre of Stockport is accessible, together with towns and cities further afield, such as Manchester and Buxton. The local area has a wide range of leisure and educational opportunities, all of which are accessible by the people using the service.
The Cottage itself retains the traditional homely feel of the area, and has recently benefitted from a total interior refurbishment. The outside area to the rear of the property ensures a safe and spacious outside area of landscaped gardens and seating areas designed and maintained by staff and service users.
This home has a lively, vibrant atmosphere and whilst all manner of outdoor activities are catered for, there are also ample spaces for individuals to take time out in peace and quiet. Our Registered Manager at the home is exacting high standards and along with a dedicated and enthusiastic staff team, provides a service in a relaxed, informal and friendly atmosphere.
