The home has access to local bus routes, provides easy access to nearby towns and villages such as Darfield, Wombwell and Barnsley City Centre.
Heathcotes (Knollbeck) comprises of two floors, offering six large single bedrooms and a wealth of communal space, including a huge conservatory, games room and a fabulous enclosed garden, with summer house and large decked area and complete with resident chickens, rabbits and allotment area – The Good Life is alive and well at Heathcotes Knollbeck!
This home has a vibrant, youthful atmosphere and has developed an emerging specialism for working with individuals who may be preparing for independent living, or who have experienced a breakdown of a previous placement; our Registered Manager, Lynsey Hutson, has a positive and enthusiastic outlook and this is reflected in the can-do culture and attitude of the entire staff team.
