Our mental health services focus on supporting service users to maintain good mental health and strengthening their independent living skills. We empower people to take responsibility for their own recovery by supporting service users to identify their own goals, ambitions and interests. We look at each person’s individual ability and support them to maximise their own potential. The main outcome for our service users is a sustainable and meaningful role in the community.
Service users have access to our Clinical Psychologist who provides Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioural Therapy where appropriate and our dedicated Outcomes Team work with staff and service users to develop bespoke strategies for managing challenging behaviour.
Our services are located in residential areas with a wealth of community facilities nearby; our service users can develop strong links with local amenities and maintain such links on leaving our services. There are various opportunities for service users to develop new skills; all services have access to local colleges and work placements and service users are supported to contribute to the daily running of the household including shopping and budgeting.
Our services have small bed numbers and have spacious communal areas and gardens. All bedrooms are ensuite and we have worked hard to maintain a homely atmosphere in which service users can feel safe and supported.
