Challenging Behaviour Training
We use NAPPI which is accredited by the British Institute of Learning Disabilities (BILD) – all staff receive Level 1 Training (theory, non-physical strategies and self-protection skills). We are also able to deliver NAPPI Levels 2 & 3 but ONLY to staff working in services where there is a clearly defined need for the use of specific restrictive physical interventions.
Heathcotes is committed to providing training according to the BILD Code of Practice for the use and reduction of restrictive physical interventions (2010).
